Domestic Shipping (Within the UK)

1. Shipping of your Repaired Goods: When we ship your repaired goods back to you, cameraworks-uk is responsible for the goods until they are safely in your hands. In the rare event of loss or damage during transit, we will ensure that you are compensated either through repair, replacement, or refund. We generally use Royal Mail Special Delivery with a maximum insured value (compensation fee) of £2,500 per package. High value items may be shipped using a secure door-to-door courier service. Sending your equipment to us: Please make sure you include a job booking form or at least a legible note with your full contact details, especially email address. please note that you are responsible for the item until it reaches our premises. We recommend using a tracked and insured shipping method such as Special Delivery for your peace of mind and to ensure the item's safety. You can find out more about packing your items here.

International Shipping
​
1. Import duties and costs - sending goods to us. We are currently unable to accept overseas repair work or returns unless you agree to send them Delivery Duty Paid (DDP), Incoterms. Any reputable carrier will organise this for you and will make sure the appropriate customs documentation is attached to the packing. you are responsible for the item until it reaches our premises. In the event we receive any overseas package that has not been sent to us using the DDP process, we will add a disbursement to the final invoice to the value of UK duties, tax and handling. This also applies to goods returned under guarantee.

2. Responsibilities: While we extend the same care and diligence to international shipments, the responsibility for customs duties, taxes, and any additional charges that may arise during shipping to your country falls upon you, the customer. We recommend familiarizing yourself with your country's import regulations and fees.

3. Insurance: Given the higher risk associated with international shipping, we offer the option for additional insurance to cover the full value of your items. While basic shipping insurance is included, it may not cover the total value of high-end equipment. We strongly advise selecting this additional insurance during checkout to protect your investment.

4. Shipping Partners: We partner with reputable international shipping companies to ensure that your items are handled with care and arrive in a timely manner. These partners offer reliable tracking services, allowing you to monitor your shipment's progress.

5. Liability: Please note that cameraworks-uk's liability ends once the package is handed over to the shipping carrier. In the event of loss or damage during international transit, compensation will be subject to the terms of the shipping insurance selected and this may be capped to a maximum amount.

General Shipping Information

Processing Times: Orders are typically processed within 1-3 days of completion of repair. You will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number once your order has shipped.

Shipping Costs: Shipping costs are calculated based on the weight and volumetric size of your packaged item(s) and the destination. Additional costs for additional insurance if required will be borne by you. For international shipments, additional charges for customs clearance must also be borne by you; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be.
