Replacement illuminator windows for the Leica M2 and early M4. These are made to original dimensions using injection moulded, optically clear acrylic (not 3D printed), just as Leica originally specified. Over time, the factory windows often crack, turn yellow, or lose their internal ridges that help diffuse light across the framelines — this part restores correct optical function and appearance.
 
These windows are suitable for the Leica M2 and M4 models (they do not fit the M3, which uses a completely different prism-based system). The window presses into the front panel, retained by a small internal clip that can be re-used (not supplied) and a spot of epoxy, can be fitted during general servicing or as a standalone part for competent DIYers or workshops. A straightforward solution to replace a very difficult-to-source part.
