We also stock replacement crystal windows for the Leica M3. These windows are a direct replacement for the originals in terms of size and thickness.
Correct sizing is and thickness is vital. The large window should not be so thick as to push out the fixed retainer, obstructing top-plate fitting and the small window must be thin enough to slide into the holder.
The appearance of these windows are identical to the original mineral glass type but with superior durability and clarity.

These windows are usually fitted by us during repair/service/repaint etc, however, we decided to make them available to other repair shops and even for DIY use. Unfortunately, we cannot replace or exchange any windows that are damaged in the process of fitting.
